World of Cigars (1996, Hardcover)

I really loved this book, it was a gift for my father. He loves cigars, it's how he celebrates something huge or just ends a good day, tells a good story, or rides his custom built Harley in a parade, all with a cigar.
It seems we have become a culture who frowns on cigaretts, but somehow cigar smoking is posh, sophisticated, hard, edjy, or classic. Whatever we label this culture, my father loved the gift.
It was a last minute buy to go with the cigars I purchased already, kind of a man's man gift basket. I felt better about this purchase because it was a charity, for some community library or such. Thank you for your time, hope some of these words help.

An excellent book for cigar lovers! Full of nice photos, World of Cigars brings you the history of cigars in full-color. Famous cigar lovers, cigar paraphenalia, etc. - it's all here in this beautiful book. A must have if you love fine cigars!

What I like most about this book is the information provided with beautiful illustrations for the apprentice aficionado as well as the seasoned ones. I decided to purchase because most of my acquaintances have it and it had to be part of my collection for the wealth of information provided. there is nothing I dislike about this book and it should be part of your collection!

Has the information that rounds off the enjoyment of smoking a good cuban Cigar and point you toward other good non cuban Cigars.
