The Best Book on Building a Workbench EVER!!!

If you read the whole book you will learn more about how your workbench should be configured to best meet the type of woodworking you do. I was very impressed and learned a great deal about how to build correctly. Like not gluing the skirts on the end of the table to allow for expansion and contraction of the wood. An excellent resource for the woodworker. Highly Recommended!!!

If there is another type of workbench I have not seen it. Lon did a great job of presenting in a very logical way what workbench is for what type of job. He show how winding sticks work to give you a flat work top to the workbench.He was in love with the RECORD VISE Co. To be honest anyone who is into woodworking benches had best be in love with Record quick Action vise as it seems all vise made today come from their beginning. This book is right on par with the book from Scott Landis. If you own that one you need to own this one.Both books are worth three times what I paid for them. and I bought the hardback versions they are so good. thanks dray
