Bill Cosby's comedy album Wonderfulness (1966) is a real blast from the past! He brings his stories to life with terrific imagery, numerous voice characterizations, and strong sound effects. Anyone who came of age in the sixties will listen to this CD and think, "I remember when I did that."
You'll meet many of the characters that became part of the FAT ALBERT cartoon in the hilarious "Go Carts" routine. "Chicken Heart," a humorous remembrance of listening to scary radio dramas, demonstrates the quintessential Cosby combination of narrative, character voices, and sound effects that picks up its hysterical pace until, at the story's climax, tears were streaming down my wife's cheeks. Every married couple will be able to relate to the hijinks in "Niagara Falls," about a couple who love each other...most of the time.
In an age when comedians stack up four-letter words up like bricks in a wall, this album stands out as the PERFECT purchase for both aspiring stand-ups who want to learn how to be funny without being crass and families who are looking for a way to spend an entertaining evening together without being hypnotized by the television.

This is a classic. This album was played over and over by my brothers, my father and myself. Back when you could spend 45 minutes in a car, with your family, and laugh together. When comedy was able to be shared as a family.

Bill Cosby is very funny & entertaining. Chicken heart is a classic tale from childhood that anyone would enjoy. This CD reminisces about childhood that older generations relate to and shows younger generations how much things have changed. It is a great CD to start introducing the comedy of Bill Cosby to children. It contains the same material of the original record that was first released in 1966. I would recomend this CD to everyone.

This is, in my opinion, Bill Cosby's best and most memorable album. We played it as kids (LONG AGO!) and still imitate it.
I bought this for my 16 year old son to see his reaction, and he is crazy about it. Bill Cosby is funny to all generations, and this album proves it! My son now imitates it, too, better than I can. Truly an album to remember, and for all ages.

Still funny after all these years!I bought this CD for my 10 year old son. He has studied the life of Bill Cosby for 2 years in a row. I bought this cd so he could listen to the albums my own father owned when I was a kid and grew up. I always loved "The Chicken Heart That Ate New York City." I still enjoy listening to him and my boys think it is hysterical. Somethings just get better with age.

Classic Bill Cosby - Absolutely Hilarious!!!This is classic Bill Cosby at its finest!! In "Wonderfulness", Bill Cosby gives fantastically humorous renditions of real life as only he can. I count nearly all of the tracks on "Wonderfulness" as favorites, but I think "Chicken Heart", "Tonsils", "Lumps" and "Go Carts" are among the best of the best.
As is standard Cosby fare, this is comedy for the whole family. There is no profanity, no "off-color" remarks, nothing you wouldn't want to play in front of your children (or your grandmother). I grew up listening to Bill Cosby records (actual vinyl records). We played them over and over and over! Still, to this day, 40+ years later, my family will throw out little quips of his comedy as they apply to our everyday lives - and we'll all just start rolling.
Simply put, this is fantastic stuff that you'll want to play over and over - I do!! Buy it! You won't regret it!

GOOD, CLEAN, HILARIOUS MEMORIESWe listened to this as children & any of us kids can look at the other at any given moment in time & say "Snakes" & we are immediately transported to a more magical & happier moment in time! ) i listened to bill cosby 40 years ago on a 331/3 album. when i saw this on cd i had to buy it so my kids could see how funny he was in his early years of his career. and to so them you can be funny without being nasty.comedians this day an time do not know how to be funny without being volguer.many of his skits were used in the cosby kid cartoon show.

Bill Cosby- what CAN one say about this comedic genius? 'Wonderfulness' is one of his finest, along with 'I Started Out As A Child', 'Bill Cosby is a Very Funny Fellow - RIGHT!' and 'Fat Albert'. My personal favorite tracks on this are the uproariously funny 'Chicken Heart', the definitely un-PC 'Special Class', and 'Go-Carts'. It's nice to have a comedian who can make us laugh without an 'f-bomb' every two seconds
