DC's best straight-to-DVD effort yet.
While this is definately a better outing for WB than the disappointing New Frontier or the horrible Doomsday movies, Wonder Woman still isn't as good as the animated series they produced in the 90's.
Kerri Russell was a good pick to voice Diana but not as good as the woman from The Justice League series & I felt the character herself had a higher hotness factor the way she was drawn in that series too. The storyline itself was certainly above average but, since I haven't read WW's previous origin stories, I can't say how this compares to them. I just felt there was that something special missing that would've elevated it from very good to great. Ares was a great villian choice but I thought his fate should've been handled differently. He is a god after all & that should make him immortal, shouldn't it?
