A Woman After God's Own Heart by Elizabeth George was what I was looking for in a study that would show me how I as a woman can grow toward God in order to have a relationship with God. It is written by someone who actually experienced getting married without God being a focus and goes through steps of growing with God once God is a focus. It is down to earth and an easy read. This is why I really liked it. It shows how by putting God first in one's life each day, God goes before us and makes our paths easier and livable. It also speaks of our being human and making time for God. I heard about it through a woman's study but was unable to attend. I would keep this around to re-read. There wasn't much I disliked about it.

This is a great book. I liked it so much I bought a copy for my daughter in law and plan to buy one for my daughter.

The book is a Christmas gift, by request, for my 14 year old daughter. She loves it! It was shipped in a timely manner and in great condition. Thanks!

Our ladies Bible Study group meets every Sunday evening. We are only on the third chapter and already we are blown away! The study has truly helped those who are young Christians and refreshed those of us who have been around for a while. Written simply so that everyone can understand her points. I can't name one thing that is wrong with it.

I absolutely love this book. It has great examples of how to become a pure woman. I especially like it because it shares examples from Beth Moore's life showing that she is also human. She doesn't pretend to be the perfect woman but shows how one should change.

It is an excellent book to help you grow closer to God and reorganize your priorities. You will be challenged in your Bible Study and relationships with your husband and children and also how you relate to other commitments outside the home.

This book is so step by step for getting into the Word and into prayer and becoming a God centered person. We have a group of gals studing it together. Wonderful!!

This is an excellent book for use as a guide for all women. I have been trying to put God as my top priority in life and this book is helping to keep me feeding on His word on a daily basis. The questions at the back refer to scriptures that you can read for each chapter and then answer for application to your own life and your personal walk with God. I suggest reading one chapter at the time, reading the scriptures that each question refers to, then asking yourself the questions for that chapter. Elizabeth George gives wonderful examples in each chapter that enable you to reflect on God's word.
