Awesome arcade classic game!It's better on the atari 5200 but still is pretty fun.Any classic gamer should add this and blue print to your collection. 4/5 very fun!

Wizard of Wor is one of those early arcade games that was the epitome of simplicity, but was fun as heck. Thankfully, CBS Electronics made a very good port of the game to the Atari 2600 in 1982, and it's not all that hard to find that version of it. Before I get into the particulars of the 2600 version, I have to mention the best port of Wizard of Wor out there appeared on the Bally Astrocade as The Incredible Wizard. Maze games are fun because they re combinations of action and puzzling-solving. Of course, not everyone wants to solve a puzzle, they just want to blast everything on the screen. For players of this ilk, Wizard of Wor was created. PRESS FIRE TO START When a game has the word Wizard in the title, it s a safe bet to assume it s of the fantasy genre, no? In the case of this cart, the allusion to dungeons and dragons is quite true since the setting takes place in a dungeon and it s your job to go around blasting dragon-like creatures.
