Mary Lynn Plaisance's novels about the Doll Land of Sha Bebe brings you into a new dimension. You will be enchanted and fall in love with the magical fairies, the Wizard and the dolls in the land of Sha Bebe! You don't have to be young to enjoy this novel.
With her book Cajun Fairies and The Wizard of Swamp Alley--In the Land of Sha Bebe, folklore author Mary Lynn Plaisance brings yet again the love and comfort of the legendary dolls to life. One just can't resist the Cajun charm of the enchanted land of the Sha Bebe Kingdom and quickly, you will drift off into a fantastic adventure, leaving behind your sorrow and worries and come to face the fact that life should really not be all that complicated.
Mary Lynn Plaisance has done a wonderful job inviting the readers to truly relax and escape from the harsh reality of our world into the pleasant world of Cajun magic. Her love for Louisiana and New Orleans gives the book an extra note of folkloristic entertainment and achievement.

The descriptive narrative is superb. Writer makes you feel as though you were one of the "Sha Bebe's" experiencing the action. Very entertaining read. I've read all of her books and everyone is excellent and, in my opinion, would make a wonderful movie. Her other books were excellent for all family members, where I found this one a little "dark" for the younger group. Should be read by teens and older. Highly recommend this book, as well as all her books.
