The Wizard of Oz (1996, VHS)

My grandchildren love it! Decided to buy it because it is something from the past that was good and entertaining then and it is still today. And my youngest granddaughter LOVES the program!

The VHS was in good condition, I bought it because my foster daughter
loved the movie and it was not one we had. It was reasonably priced,
and not easy to buy in stores anymore.

This is a great person to deal with. The whole family is excited about this purchase. We all love this film. We have been waited for a while to purchase this paricular film. We are so glad that we did. I think we watch it for three days straight. Can't go wrong with this one.

I was surprised to find all of my grandchildren just loved this movie! It was made in 1939, making it 70 years old and young children are still facinated by the movie, plot and characters. The children range in ages from three years old to fourteen years old and even my 23 year old granddaughter, the oldest, loves this movie. This was a great idea for a purchase for me and I bought two so I could send one home with four of the grandchildren and have one for here!

I recieved the product in a timely fashion, and in good shape. However the first time I tried to watch it, the tape snagged on something in the cassette housing and broke. I got to watch about 20 minutes of the film and that was it. Steve N.

I have always loved this movie. I grew up watching it and havn't been able to find it in a while. I wanted the original VHS cause I believe that was the way it was ment to be seen. Beautiful quality for what it is.

The Wizard of Oz is an older Movie. We bought the Movie for our Son. He loves it and has watched it several times since we got it for him.

I love this classic, spectacular & most colorful version of the Wizard of Oz from beginning to end. I especially loved Judy Garland's portrayal as Dorothy, and all other characters that made this movie both highly entertaining and full of feeling. The special affects, the music and entertainment is superb for children of all ages (few months old to 100+ years old!!!) It touched my heart that the main characters Dorothy dreamed of were people in her real life whom she loved. The main message of the movie and quote of Dorothy is: "There is no place like home." That statement is true and very important for all to remember, so as not to be searching for a faulty rainbow in the sky or looking for "the grass (that) is greener on the other side."

It's an old story. Tornadoes on the Great Plains are somewhat fascinating. A magical story about a little girl in Kansas.

This is a great movie that I really loved when I was a child and I bought it to share with my children, whom I hope will love it too!

Well where to start my son is six and had never seen this movie .So I bought it for his Easter basket and he loved it .I enjoyed the story as a child and he is enjoying it now . I was greatful to find it on ebay had looked for it for along time and i found it thank you

I bought the video because my great grand daughter had a set of the charactors.
She loves the movie and the dolls.

I loved it not because it was a classic but because it was a great moive and my 3 year old Grandson is addicted to it and I wanted him to be able to watch it as much as he wanted.

A timeless story for all the young at heart, that has spanned generations providing hours of good, clean, and wholesome fun for all ages.I especialy like the many characters who acted in this movie, and the many hidden themes that are included into the movie

This movie is a timeless classic. I'm 43 yrs. old and can't even begin to remember how many times I've seen it, yet I always notice something new each time I watch it. I recently purchased it because my 4 yr. old son watched it on television with his grandfather and LOVED it. It was a Christmas gift for him.

what can i say, i grew up watching this movie as a child. i pass the love of this movie to my children. somewhere over the rainbow life is very different. i love kansas any way why would any one want to leave it. dorothy and the dog were a instant hit with me. the m moral of the story is no place like home. where the heart is . i watch it and i am still amazed at the old school technology. i brought this item for my youngest daughter as a birthday present.
