The Witcher Enhanced Edition (PC Games, 2008)

The game has some awesome qualities that makes it play much better, the fighting and quests are all intertwined with the story and its a lot of fun, could ask for a little more freedom to explore.

I bought The Witcher when it was first released, and loved the story gameplay that was unfortunately tempered by bugs and poor translation and voice acting.

In short, the Enhanced Edition release fixes all of that and more, and if you don't believe me then just check out any number of reviews on the web. Definitely worth a buy, especially if you decided to pass the first time around.

Was a really good game. I play WoW, Diablo, and all the blizzard games and i was looking for something new that would cost me monthly to play.

I wasn't sure about the witcher and i was taking a lil risk of trying it, but it turned out to be a great game. Good story, good and customization.

If you're on the fence on buying, I'd say go for it

The Witcher Enhanced Edition has fixed every single problem I had with the original release. It never crashes, loads hundreds of times faster, looks better, and has been changed for the better. The extras that come with it are really nice considering the fact that the price has not changed.
The story is great, if a little bit on the long side. Combat is nice and fluid, with a deep buffing system that encourages you to utilize alchemy, food, drink, magic, and upgrade items to win fights. The game still looks really good, despite being release in 2007. The only thing that really shows age are the facial animations, which are pretty bad compared to the quality of everything else.
Fans of games with deep lore will love the huge amount of backstory you get in the game (and in the excerpts from the Witcher stories that the game comes with). I wouldn't pass this up.

I am so glad i bought The Witcher -- Enhanced Edition (PC game). It is definitely one of the top most excellent solo player games i ever bought and played. It has a great storyline, wonderful graphics, and is excellent. Definitely a excellent buy, providing hours and hours of fun, exploring the huge world and doing all the main and side quests. :)

The price was low. The item arrived in good condition. The package arrived within, albeit on the long side of, the estimated time of delivery.

Great remake of the previous version. Excellent story, with ethical choices determining game play and endings. Now upgradeable to the Director's Cut via free download from official site.
A purchase you will not regret and one which will provide many hours of enjoyment.

Great game. Excellent balance of action, adventure, combat, character development & nice plot twists to boot! Replaces the complex character generation found in most RPGs with a simple easy to follow talent system - Lets the player enjoy the game rather than spend hours trying to tweak his or her character. Seemless integration of richly animated cut-sceens with a fantastic musical score make the game a real joy to play. The over-the-shoulder character control is a nice feature - especially the 360 degree control while the game is paused. Note that the game contains strong sexual content so it's not for kids. My only criticism is the NPC character models - not that they are bad, just that the game needs more variety - other than that it's perfect!
