Wish by Cure (The) (CD, Apr-1992, Elektra Entertainment)

The CD and booklet were in good conditons, but the CD case was broken. To me, the case isn't necessary, but it would have been easy to switch the case cover. Great album though!

Item was in excellent shape even though it was a cd from 1992. There were no scratches or marks on the case or the cd itself. The book was also in excellent condition. The item also arrived very quickly.

The music on the Cure's Wish covers many emotions. That versility made it a must have. Highly recommended.

I love this CD, and I bought it again because my original cd was stolen and I wanted to rebuild my collection.

this is my favorite cd. its honestly amazing. the cures vocals and the arragements throughout the entire album are mind blowing.

"Wish" is a brilliant cd. It takes up where "Disintegration" left off, and uses layers of guitar (and often feedback) to create the lush, layered, enveloping sound that "Disintegration" so beautifully perfected.

My only real complaint on this cd is that I don't find the song "High" to be very compelling, but, then again, it is in the vein of pop songs like "Lovecats," which isn't a favorite Cure song by me either.

The layered sounds, ethereal, swirling arrangements and moving, heartbreaking lyrics place this in my top two favorite Cure albums.

If you like "Disintegration," but also appreciate layered, swirling guitars like a more psychedelic My Bloody Valentine, then you'll appreciate this cd which melds those concepts seamlessly.

I bought the cure cd Wish. Has many great songs on this cd. Did not listen to them much in the 80"s. The three that I remember the most is High, and Deep green sea, Apart. It was great to get the three that I liked the most. And had
Friday I"m In Love, It is a great CD.

My pleasure with listening to The Cure is the lyrical craftsmanship
of Robert Smith and of course the musicians that make up the band.
This CD was excellent in sound with minimal wear on the case. I feel
confident in buying used CDs on E-Bay.

It's hard for me to pick my favorite Cure album but I'm leaning toward Wish. Every song is completely flawless (Friday I'm In Love is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to greatness here). Dark, poetic, beautiful. What more could you want in a CD? 5 Stars.

The album produced in 1992. It is very rare in Malaysia to have this kind of album. I considered this album as one of the best album ever produced by The Cure. They are legendary group, performing unique music with utmost creativity. I considered the procurement of this album as my collective items.

The cure is one of many influential bands of my generation. Their music is timeless not just in sound but poetic in it's songwritting. A band that was ahead of their time and deserved more recognition. This is a touching album with many fantastic songs, there is nothing I dislike about it. I wanted to replace my old copy with a new one since this is an album I always want to have in my collection.

I had this CD back in high school. This was before goth was cool!! My fave song on this disk is Friday, but I do love all the songs.

This is by far my favorite Cure album! It shows how very diverse they can be. As a whole, the album meshes well together. Streaming beautiful arrangements with absolute pop gems! This seemed to be the same formula on Wild Mood Swings, but didn't work as well. Best tracks are High,Apart, From the Edge..., Wendy Time, A Letter To Elise and To Wish Impossible Things.
