Movie Description In many ways a forerunner to shows like THE SOPRANOS and NYPD BLUE, WISEGUY was among the first television crime dramas that featured continuous, multiple-episode story arcs, while also taking the risk of humanizing cops and criminals alike. Ken Wahl won a Golden Globe in 1989 for his portrayal of Vincent Terranova, an undercover cop specializing in infiltrating organized crime families. Vincent's problem, however, is that he doesn't always find it easy to betray the criminals he's befriended afterwards, much like DONNIE BRASCO. WISEGUY was created by television veterans Frank Lupo and Stephen J. Cannell, who also worked together on THE A-TEAM and HUNTER. BETWEEN THE MOB AND A HARD PLACE features two complete story arcs from WISEGUY's second season, and features guest stars like Chazz Palminteri and Michael Chiklis.
