I love the wire in the blood series, even with Carol Jorden.. Series four begins a with a new detective.. DI Alex Fieldning.. although skeptical of Tony's way of finding serial killers she soon realizes that she can use his help... Some badgirl fans may be a little disappointed that Simone Lahbib's character is not as "fiesty" as her Helen Stewart role in Badgirls.. but her character is being developed in season four.. as with most British drama Series, it is the characters in their roles that seem to drive the plot.. so by the fourth episode, in series four.. you find that DI Fielding can figure some things out on her own. Overall this series is great.. Gritty and as a clinician myself with a certian facination with serial Killers.. I just love the show.. each episode is one and a half hours.. that is why there are only four.. but the writing, the filming, the acting is all top notch!!!!
Season four is a good place to start if you have not watched the prevous three.. but I would still start with season one and watch them all..
