WipEout Pure (PlayStation Portable, 2005)

When I originally wrote my review of the Psp it was when this was the only game I was playing on it. Well as time has gone by I would have definately given the Psp a lower rating than I did because there just arean't many games that are very good for it. But, Wipeout for the psp is amazing. I find myself going back to this game constantly. In my opinion it is the only game that is really great on the Psp. Yes I know there is the grand theft auto games and a couple others, but for a handheld system these type of games are hard to get into. Wipeout is a game you can throw in your Psp and play for 15 minutes and significantly satisfy your gaming needs. Rpgs and games like GTA are ones that require more time to really get into. If your thinking wipeout is just like any other racing game your completely wrong. I don't get into racing games, Wipeout is unique in its own way. The hover craft type vehicles you control are very fun to do so as opposed to most car racing games controlling virtually the same. The graphics are outstanding with futuristic levels ranging from tunnels under water, through rain or snow, or up in the sky line. What really makes this game is the music though, the techno that is played throughout the game makes it really fun and you find your self thinking this game is really FRIKIN SWEET.
