WipEout Fusion (PlayStation 2, 2002)

This game is truly great! Graphics are stupendous and reminds me of a Star Wars from N64 type game. You wont be disappointed with this game! Worth the purchase / rental!

I followed the Wipeout series from the beginning. While previous games focused on racing with weapons just used to gain small advantages, this game has placed a much larger component on the fighting and eliminating opponents aspect. While I enjoyed this aspect of the game, I found the handling of the vehicles to be lacking. Where the older versions truly had the feeling of flying above the track, the vehicle feels locked to the track at a fixed altitude in this game, giving a much more typical racing experience. I found it to be lacking.

This game has extreme hi-speed racing with great graphics.I also think that the difficulty levels are well suited. When you first buy it and you have not gotten used to it you can play on a lower level.

I always was a fan of the Wipeout games on the PS, but since I moved on to the 360, I can't enjoy newer Wipeout games such as the psp's Wipeout pure and pulse or Wipeout HD for the PS3. Wipeout Fusion is an awesome game for the ps2 (which I had before the 360). It offer a great arsenal of weapons, 8 teams, 42 different courses (3 courses + Reverses on 7 different environements) and lots of fun. It has addictive gameplay and a lot of replayability. A+++

This game Wipeout has tons of problems. It has zero-energy walls if you manage to get to one which is wasy to do on some tracks you'll go right through it and fall off the track and lose your place in the race. The AI after winning a race is very stupid. After you win a race the AI hover craft will crash into walls and do other things that are not fun to deal with. Also if you enter cheat codes some of the time that you play the game Wipeout they won't work at all. Also once you unlock a surtain item in the game like if you manage to unlock the advanced missiles you can't use them in any race it relocks up on you. IF you unlock some of the games features they too will become relocked up. It's a poor game to play. I would recemmond that you buy the used playstation one wipeout games. The game is not worth buying. Also you have to watch what you are buying from this person that I got the game from. I only brought this game because I have played the other ones from PS1 and they are worth it a lot. I brought this game beacuse I thought that it was going to be better since it was on the playstation two. I recommand that you play soemthing else that most interest you then this game. Now they have those Wipeout games on the PSP try one of those.

wipeout is allways a cool game and this one is better. wipuot fusion is the same wipeout but better.
