Winter Passing (DVD, 2006, Full Frame/Widescreen)

This film is probably not what you are expecting, regardless of what you are expecting. It takes you by surprise with its originality and unique methodical pacing. The story is, although melancholy, beautiful--and so is the imagery. The characters are extraordinary. This film is definitely offbeat. If you have hopes for it, you might be dissapointed because it serves the film up differently than one might aspire, but if you view it without a bias or expectation, it will lock you in with its story and make you want to live it for yourself. Extraordinary film making. Bravo!

I love the movie, because my girlfriend loves it. I decided to buy it, because she doesn't own it. Now that I've finally found it, she'll love me more on Christmas

I received the movie in a timely matter and it is in very good condition. i will consider buying from this seller in the future.

My sister sent me this film, I just watched it last night.

It was good, well writen, but the stars Ed Harris and Will Ferrell didn't convince me that they were not themeselves. Kind of like film Dick Tracy was Warren Betty main character and Madonna was herself, you don't see the characters, you only see the celebrity.

They were good performances on both parts, but it wasn't camelion enough. When you forget its the famous person and loose yourself in the character.

They both are excellent actors, but I kept thinking Ferrell would do something slapstick and Ed Harris would shot some one... and it wasn't that kind of film.

As well, Ed Harris' hair, it looked like a bad wig. He would have done better to just let his hair grow out a bit, it only takes a few days for a man to look disheveled.

I think one of the more interesting characters was her boyfriend with the great flat. I wanted the movie to stay there awhile.

I will say that the ending was satisfying. I think the film would have been much better with lesser known actors. Or disguising the top names a little better.
