Background vocals: Dennis Wilson, Curtis Young, Bergen White, Karen Taylor-Goode, Willie K. Kapena. Engineers: Howard Lindeman, Rich Schirmer. Recorded at Lahaina Sound, Maui, Hawaii. Travis's first album without longtime producer Kyle Lehning is somewhat of a departure from his previous work. It's the soundtrack to a TV special of the same name, and the music consists of cowboy songs, some new (the title track) and some old ("The Old Chisolm Trail," written by the great P.D., also known as Anon. and Trad.) Assorted non-musical celebrities including Chuck Norris and Burt Reynolds appeared in the special; thankfully they are not to be heard on the CD, which is actually quite authentically western sounding - surely, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers are smiling their approval from cowboy heaven.
