When the Wind Blows (VHS, 1988)

I LOVE this movie. I was first introduced to it in my History of Animation Class back in college and immediately went out and purchased the VHS. The VHS was extremely hard to find since it is out of print but I found it on eBay and paid a pretty high price but it is totally worth it) My boss recently borrowed my VHS and hasn't returned it in 2 months (no matter how many times I ask)! So back to eBay I went, to replace my copy. The DVD was never released in the US and was only available in the PAL version but I was lucky enough to find a very nice seller who does legal PAL conversions and snatched a copy from him. Now I have a DVD that will last longer and take up less space! When the Wind Blows, is such a touching and heart-wrenching tale. The love and bond of this couple is unbreakable. You will truely shed a tear with this dark tale. It is a piece of animation history!
