Wilson Staff Spine Driver Golf Club

I very much like the accurate ball flight. The distance isn't much better than my PD5 nano tech. driver but I hit more fairways. It is light and swings very easy. Impact noise isn't bad not like the nike. I am very pleased with all around performance, feel, and look.

The club has a great feel to it, seems easy to swing in rhythm. Ball flight seems to be exactly what I was hoping for, overall I'm well pleased with it. The only different thing is that it is pretty loud, and has a bit different tone when struck. But, I'm getting use to that already. Overall a great club, especially considering the price!

Craftsmanship is excellent, Good looks, Performance is great, I dislike the loud sound on contact. If you don`t mind a noisy driver, this might be for you.

I purchased this driver because I felt I needed an inexpensive driver that would let me learn the game of golf and not cost me an arm and a leg. To my surprise this driver provide me, a begining golfer, with a tool to drive the ball far and as straight as my skill level permits. It has a strange clangy sound when struck, but it provides the distance I required when hitting the ball of the Tee. And if I am focused and the gods of golf are all happy I can hit the ball down the middle of the fairway with minimum effort and maximum distance. It doesn't do all the work and you can still hit them badly, but far. The senior shaft that it came with is a little flexi, but works well. The 12 degree loft lets me get the ball air borne with minimum effort. Overall I like the driver and would recommend to other first time buyers, looking for an inexpensive first time driver.

Wow. This is straight and long. Super forgiving - you still have to make contact, but it will reduce the severity of any poorly hit shots. Huge sweet spot. I am now pretty consistent at 260 to 270 yards and I don't miss many fairways anymore. (With my old driver, I used to be 250 yards when I got it right; and 150 yards forward and 50 yards right when I hit it wrong.) It played 4 rounds the first day I took it out - my 3 friends and I all played this driver- my buddies abandoned their - Ping G5 Titanium 460, Taylormade Burner and Callaway Big Bertha 460 after seeing my first drive!

Excellent shape, nice fill and excellent ebayer. The club was shipped very fast it is like new condition and should help my drives find more fairways.

Seems like a decent driver, just not for me. There are many comments about the odd sound when the head strikes the ball. This is true and I actually liked the sound. BUT it is very loud and really annoying to your ears after multiple hits on the range. Reasonably accurate club, but difficult to hook the ball and more shots stay right than most other drivers I tried.

I gave an excellent rating because performance for the dollar for this thing at under $100 is fantastic.

If you like traditional designs--look elsewhere it's a radical design even by todays standards. Fit and finish are way better than average, the paint on the head is a very deep high gloss black--it's put together flawlessly. It comes with a sharp looking headcover, and the stock UST shaft is very good and retails for about $60-- thoughmuch less here on ebay.

Performance is very good----accuracy, distance, trajectory, and feel.

One of those products where for this price you simply can't go wrong.
