Not to be Taken Lightly esp. for those 64* Lobbers

I am very pleased with this Model by Wilson.
For the price you figure you get what you pay for...or do you in this case?
With 4* of bounce this baby lays pretty flat, and the wide sole slides with ease in long grass.
I would of been more pleased if they left eh scoring lines unpainted and just left the grooves exposed.
The weight and build of this model is what referred to as "stout"...not a light weight model, and not like a tank like the old Cleveland 64*. This has good balance in the hands.
I am impressed with the size of the head itself...this is wider than a typical wedge head, but not as much height like the oversize specialty heads that is all area.
This allows a relaxed approach to the fear of making good contact in some deep salads...the gratuitous width of the face will assure you that your gonna hit your areas of the face...plenty of room to do so.
I do like the 4* bounce...you can slide the wedge right under the ball if you like to play your lobs forward in your stance.
The leading edge is rounded and not squared...great for those who likes to have some lead into the rough.
Ive played quite a few models of high lob wedges and although my favorite is still the Tom Watson Tour Grind, this Sandy Andy model is a good compliment for the super wide sole and ample hitting width.
I gave this model a good rating for the design of the head, sole and weight...
It is my understanding that they wanted to continue with the reputation of the earlier models that has come along with the Sandy Andy line...
Trying to maintain the popularity of this long history model...I believe that they have done so, and even offered a High Lob Wedge that is unique and so much different that the current models out there at this loft...
This is a good change...a different Lob Wedge to those who would like to have options in the arsenal of 64* wedges...If it does the job, it deserves to be in the bag. I am of the opinion that this club bear merit, or at least and opportunity for you to try and test it yourself...
