Crabmeat Mornay, Williamsburg Inn Chicken Dumplings, Ginger Beef, Shrimp turnovers, Raspberry Ice, Sherry Frosting & over 100 pages of other recipes.
Williamsburg was founded in 1699, the Inns and taverns sur took a travel during these days abroad. Meals, drinks and lodging became traditional in that ensemble of life. Most of the recipes came straight from Ms. Booth and thus this book has a tradition like no other.
This kind of book only comes along in lot sales or used book stores. Mrs. Grace Sumner tested all these recipes and contributed in the books interior. Grace is also Norfolk Food Editor.
Have fun cooking with recipes of great value and taste. Page 108 has Indian Corn Muffins, the muffins are worth the prep then you get to eat them.
