Gotta Love Japanese Rock n Roll Zombie Cult Classic!

Ok, Japanese movie about a rock band who battles zombies. What could be better? Nothing I tell ya!
This has become a cult classic for many reasons - first, it is a zombie movie. Horror movies have a way of become cult if they are too smart/funny for their own good. Second, it features a rock band - a real rock band - as the main characters. God save Guitar Wolf! Third it is Japanese - which means American audiences did not get really behind it for fear of having to read subtitles. So smart and funny Japanese zombie movie = cult classic!
A guy on goes to a concert by his fave band - Guitar Wolf of course - and finds that aliens are turning people into zombies. Guitar Wolf is cool with that - they're a rock band for crying out loud, they've seen worse! - and fight the living dead with the help from their biggest fan.
Super cheesy - meant to be that way folks! - and kitschy, the script is smart, funny and silly all rolled into one. The acting is hilarious, the music is loud, the zombies are from outer space and ooze, not charm, what's that word again? Oh yes, gore!
Highly recommended for my zombie-addicted brothers and sisters! Oh and do not stare too hard at the manager with the white shorts - you will go blind and it will zap your sex drive. Not for kids!
