The Wild Bunch (DVD, 1997, Restored Director's Cut)

I like this work of art from director Sam peckinpah's, as a child growing up with toy-western guns and stick horses, long befor video games keep the child in us lock in our seats, I can say I enjoy this type of out door adventure film, it is full of slick vision, and die-hard principals,well tune for these over the hill actors who fit the part like they were born for it.I also bought this for the child in me who love the western..for it's grit..for it's action...and yes for those rough desperados who live one second at a time! and as a child before cable became the norm,I never did get to see the full director's cut. now it's one of my collection pieces I don't collect all the westerns however this one is #2 on my list. EXCELLENT ACTION WESTERN WITH SOLID ACTING BY WILLIAM HOLDEN,WARREN OATES,AND BEN JOHNSON.A MUST FOR ANY WESTERN CLASSIC FILM FAN.

It's a good movie you can watch over and over again. Great actors and action. Would recommend this movie to anyone who likes westerns with penty of action. Should be a classic.

You better believe it.

These outlaws mean business; and they are quite proficient in regard to their business. They certainly aren't good men; but they do have a few good character traits. After all, it is partly their loyalty to (and maybe even brotherly love for) Angel which sets up the film's final confrontation; although those attributes were almost certainly conditional on the fact that he was a member of their outlaw band; so I wouldn't say that the loyalty they show qualifies them to be considered particularly "noble". It is something, though. It's enough that you feel some sympathy for these hombres as they walk towards a fateful showdown. Professional robbers and killers though they are; it's not hard to identify with them in this circumstance. The fact that they are vastly outnumbered enhances the feeling. (If the previous words sound somewhat vague; remember: I don't want to give away too many details for those who haven't seen the movie.)

THE WILD BUNCH is for the most part very realistic and believable. The motivations of all the characters are completely credible.

It is a great film, and is widely considered a classic -- and not just in it's own genre.

The final shootout simply boggles the mind.

The DVD only worked for about 30 minutes , then it goes blank, tried playing on 2 different machines, The cost of shipping back is more than the cost of the DVD, The seller should send me a better copy of The Wild Bunch

This one of few classic American Western movies with a cast of movie giants. I will watch this movie over and over again.

this was the way great movies were made, the actors were top notch. I wanted to see the whole movie they edit so much on tv.

I like ordering from this company because of the quality of merchandice and they are always prompt on sending it to me .

I like the raw nature of this movie. It doesn't try to hide what it is. Yes it is a violent movie, the first of its kind. The director made no excuses for what he brought forth.

I was first drawn to the item by its low "buy it now" price. It was advertised as a new product . It was however a lesser quality copy . I was very unsatisfied that it would not play through in its entirity. Once again I was pleased that the seller replaced it with another copy at no charge... Again , the same result .. This happened one more time ,as it was replaced a third time ...still at no charge. But unfortunatly it too did not play entirely .. Now I have in my possession 3 copies of the same DVD, all of which do not play as they should. For this I am unsatisfied with my most recent purchase.

item description was good and was shipped with in a few days, good quality item. it is a good classic western and hard to find, price of item and shipping i thought was fair, well worth the money.
