So the $50 retail price (if you can even find it as supplies are limited to nothing) includes a $40 wiimote (supplies are worse!). So at retail prices, the $50 game comes with a $40 remote - meaning the game is $10. While I rank Wii Play behind Wii Sports and Wario Smooth Moves - it is a classic party-type game that is built to showcase the Wiimote. You'll get lots of enjoyment out of this one (especially their duckhunt clone) just as you did with Wii Sports. Not the best game on the Wii - but maybe the best for the buck! I would have loved to see this nearly poor rated game sell for $50. It wouldn't have sold. They had to include the Wii Mote, a $40 value, to get it sold. This game is sold used for less than $20, because that is all that it is worth. Yes, it used to new remote technology.. is it fun?? not so fun. Pool was fun, and that was about it. If it didn't have pool, I'd give this the poorest rating. It is not intense like Wii Sports. You look and think, oh like Duck Hunt. This was nothing like Duck Hunt, and instead puts you in a frantic pointing frenzy.. no time to aim or be civil, or skilled. A beligerant monkey could play these games. It must be for kids and have the wrong rating. This certainly is not fun to a 27 year old male, or any of my similiar aged friends. The game is probably awesome to a child, but it is Nintendo's fault for a poor unrealistic rating system. I feel robbed. Review ID: 10000000003400205 Was this review helpful? And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!! There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.) Then they will ship your PS3 System or your selected item for free, I chose the PS3 80gb System. No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it ! This game is perfect for passing time. -The Good -Variety of Games -Creative Use of the Wii Remote -Creative Use of Miis -Multiplayer Doesn’t Limit Gameplay -Gameplay -The Bad -Not Much Replay Value -The Summary -This game is basically no different from Wii Sports (see my Wii Sports review too!), except for the fact that it uses different mini-games. There are 9; Shooting Range, Find Mii, Table Tennis, Pose Mii, Laser Hockey, Pool, Charge!!, Gone Fishin’, and Tanks! In Shooting Range, you shoot various objects to earn points. In Find Mii, the game gives you some general details about a Mii (or two) that you must then find. Find it and you earn more time, choose the wrong Mii, and your time decreases. In Table Tennis, you use the Wii Remote to play Ping Pong. In Pose Mii, you use both clever positioning of the Wii Remote and buttons on the Wii Remote to pop bubble matching a pose and gain points. In Laser Hockey, you must move and twist the Wii Remote to try and gain 8 points before your opponent. In Pool, you use the Wii Remote to play (what do you know!). In Charge, you ride a bull and must make it to the finish line of a randomized race track, all the while trying to knock down scarecrows to earn points. In Gone Fishing, you must move the Wii Remote to…fish. Each fish is worth a certain amount of points. In Tanks!, you must go through multiple level destroying enemy tanks, the tougher the tank, the more points its worth. After you lose all your lives, your points are added. In conclusion, this game is more fun when you play with others. -thepokeson Review ID: 10000000003849142 Was this review helpful?
