Wii Play (with Wii Remote) (Wii, 2007)

I bought this game for the extra remote that was included. The way I looked at it was that I was buying the remote and getting a free game not the other way around. I was pleasantly surprised at the most of the games. They are organized in a way as to help you learn various ways of manipulating the remote for different actions to take place in each game. So while you are learning a new game you are also learning how to use the Wii remote in ways you may not have known you could otherwise. Being able to go head to head with another person is really a lot of fun. Of the nine games included on the disc I liked seven and really liked four. The fun level really increases with a second player though. We even organized a tournament for my daughter's birthday party complete with brackets done on a big white board. Great fun!! All these games are easy to pick up right away and you get better the more you play them. So while they may not be the most challenging or thought provoking, they are none the less alot of fun. Overall 7/10.
