Wife for Hire by Janet Evanovich (2007, Paperback)

I am a BIG fan of Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum Series and I have to admit that I bought this book without reading the synopsis. So I thought, this is going to be great, Stephanie is going to hire a 'wife'. Evanovich's Plum Series are great and I highly recommend them. Back to the topic at hand.

Wife for Hire is a cute romantic story about two people, one who needs to just get away for a while to write, and the other who needs to put on the air of a 'married, responsible adult'.

Maggie is a school teacher wanting peace and quiet away from her mother and and Aunt Marvina, and Hank wants to hire a wife to present the air of a 'stable member of the community'.

It doesn't take long for sparks to begin to fly.

I recommend this book and Janet Evanovich as your next author to try. It is a fun easy read.

I have read all of her books and have enjoyed all of them. I am always waiting for another one of her books to be published. I would recommend that everyone read her books.

Janet Evanovich is fast becoming my favorite author. She has a great sense of Humor and great Characters. Highly recommended read.

This is very light reading with not much of a plot. But it was a sweet story and very funny. Janet Evanovich has a way of adding humor to her stories by making them so real and earthy.

I love Janet Evanovich's books. I havent read this one yet, but I cant wait to. If you havent read any of her books. I really suggest them. They are great.

Her early work and highly recommended by my sister. I have not read this yet, but as I have read almost all of her Plum series, I am sure this one will not disappoint me. Will get to it before the end of the summer. Easy reading for any time of the year.

THIS WAS A GREAT READ THAT HAS A LOT TO OFFER AND SOME GREAT TWISTS!! I REALLY LOVE THIS AUTHOR!! I THOUGHT THAT THE STORY LINE WAS COMPELLING AND THAT IT WAS A LOT OF FUN! I COULDNT PUT IT DOWN!

This book was offered at an incredible price and I love Evanovich books. The shipping was very fast which pleases any "constant reader". This book so far is fun, quick and a light easy read. Also, book was in very good, if not excellent condition. I will enjoy buying from this book seller because the quality and speed are the best yet!

Evanovich has a witty style that beckons her readers to enjoy the humorous aspects of the situations the people she writes of in her books find themselves in. All of her books are excellent, however, fair warning they are not books to be read in public by yourself unless, that is you don't mind when others look at you with questioning looks as to why you are laughing so hard. These are cheerful books guaranteed to make anyone's mood brighter!

This is an awsome new book by Janet Evanovich - it will keep your hooked from front to back. One of those you can't put down until you are finished. Love It! !
