Wonderful thoughts, and the pictures added greatly to the book. I would have liked to have it include a daughter's life after her marriage and how she still needs her dad. Our daughters liked the book very much.

I saw this book several months ago in a gift store and knew this would be a perfect gift for my daughter from her dad. She was getting married and although he was "giving away" his little girl to another man she would away need her daddy and her daddy would always be there for her.

ExcellentThis book is a must have for any family that has this relationship. I bought this for my husband for Father's Day after the birth of our second daughter. It has many reasons and great advice for new dad's and older fathers. I recently purchased this again for my dad to let him know why I need him and why our realtionship is so important to me.

Great books for the newborn parents

This book and its alter are wonderful quick reads and references for the new parents. We purchased 2 copies of each for our sons who were both having little girls. They are touching and profound page by page...not just for the new parent, but a great little keepsake for the child as she grows. In my opinion, a must have.
