Why the Sky Is Far Away by Mary-Joan Gerson (1974, Reinforced Hardcover)

I am a reader/story-teller for young children and am always searching for interesting stories that the children might not have heard before. I particularly like this book entitled Why the Sky is Far Away because it is a Nigerian fable, and I have found that children love fables and folklore from other countries. Also, this book has a moral to the story and that's always helpful and positive.
