An Intriging Mystery by Christie
Agatha Christie is a favorite mystery author of mine. Her plots and characters are so well-developed that the reader gets caught up in the story barely able to put the book down. This story has a great twist along with a romance between a vicar's son who found the body and the local lord's daughter who are trying to solve the mystery of the dead man's maybe accidental death. When someone attempts to poison the young man with an enormous overdose of morphia, the paid decide that maybe the death wasn't accidental afterall. Throw in cases of identity theft, a spooky sanitorium for drug cases where a delicate beauty may be in danger of being murdered by her doctor husband, staged auto accidents and other seemingly innocent accidents and you have a great plot with all kinds of suspects for murderer. Throughout the whole there is the search for the tantalizing missing Evans.
