Wholly Moses! (DVD, 2004)

The move is an old one but it is one of the good ones. It takes a comical look at the times of Moses. Dudly Moore plays a man that lives his life side by side with Moses and believes that he is the Chosen one. If you want to have a light hearted good fun family night with a clean movie... check this out it is sure to please.

If you are into 80’s comedies, this movie is right for you. I laughed my rear off when this was in the movies (shows my age). Dudley Moore does a good job in this farce of the 10 Commandments. Richard Pryor is a good Pharaoh while he describes how Moses splits the red sea.

If you are expecting a History of the Word Part 1 you WILL be disappointed. Don’t compare the two, enjoy them for the separate movies they are and you will enjoy yourself.

I like this movie a lot. My brother and sister-in-law fell asleep while watching it though, but what do they know. so in short, i guess, it's kind of slow but funny.

This is one of the funniest movies that I've seen. It is a parody of a man whose life is parallel to Moses of the Old Testament. Although some may consider it making fun of Moses, it really isn't. It chronicals a man named Herschel. There are so many good parts, that it's hard to select just one to talk about. Besides, I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone.
