White Christmas (DVD, 2000, Sensormatic)

One of the true Christmas Classics. I doubt I'd pay to see a musical made today, but I'd pay to see this movie again! The storyline is quite good and the cast is exceptional. However the highlight to me is the Christmas feelings that this movie still gives me. The songs are, of course, timeless. The scenery is wonderful. It's a "feel good" movie that helps raise our spirits and rediscover why Christmas time is so special. This movie would probably not be a smash hit if released today, but along with the songs and Christmas feelings it brings out in me, it all brings back memories of my childhood when I didn't have much, but had it all.

White Christmas is a classic. Available on DVD, VHS and T.V. at least one time per season! Who can not love Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye as a song and dance man duo who meet two sisters (who are a song and dance team duo) - who team up to go to a little Inn in Vermont. There they run into their old Army Commander whose Inn does not have enough people to keep it running. The 4 singer/dancers get their heads together and decide to do a surprise show and invite all of their old army buddies to come to the inn at Christmas to both cheer up their commander and bring money to the inn. Of course love, romance, lost romance and regained romance is part of the story along with traits of friendship, loyalty and love for one another.

This is a great family movie and a classic that everyone should own. Buy or rent White Christmas for lovely to bring the Christmas spirit into your home and hearts!

This is another heart warming movie that has become an american favorite. It's a family tradition for my family to watch it during the Christmas season. This movie is a must have!!!

My mom loves everything about that movie. I bought it for her because we want to start unloading the VHS we have here and switch over to DVD. The White Christmas DVD is excellent. Its a great movie and for a very good price too.

Another great Christmas movie that gives you that warm fuzzy feeling needed sometimes around the holidays.

This DVD is a classic and is hard to obtain at a reasonable price. EBay made it possible for me to replace a VHS version I had for years. We thoroughly enjoy watching it almost once a week for it's sheer entertainment value, quality picture and sound. This movie will be around for generations to come.

Uplifting, entertaining and touching. This classic is a must in every Christmas tradition. The songs, the actors and the story are timeless. This is one to definitely own.

This is a one-of-a-kind Holiday Musical with all the great music and beautiful gowns, etc., from the era of MGM great musicals.

I can't wait to introduce my nine-year-old granddaughter and her friends (the next generation) to this extravagant musical experience.

We are planning a White Christmas Saturaday night sleep-over with all the trimmings. Keep the music going....you won't be sorry.

If you love Christmas you will love this movie. It is great for a Christmas movie collection. If you don't buy it at least borrow it or rent it.

Have watched this movie many, many times with my wife when, it was on TV, and have enjoyed it very much. This Dvd was purchased as a Christmas present for my wife, she has been wanting it for a couple years now.

This is my all time favorite movie. It has all you need. Bing Crosby and humor, rosemary and her looks. Vera is a great dancer and Danny does a great job filling the voids.

The story is original, and the outcome is divine.

This is a movie the WHOLE family will enjoy. Pop in the DVD, butter the popcorn and sit down for hours of laughter. This movie is 5 stars all the way.

This is the best Christmas story out there. I watch it every year and have since I was a small child. It has everything for everyone.

FORGET "Dancing with the stars"....Buy White Christmas instead. They have more clothes on and the dancers aren't seductive!

This is my favorite holiday movie. I wore out my old VHS tape so I ordered it on DVD. Many other reiewers have recapped the plot, so I will just add that watching Danny Kaye is always joyous and Bing's voice was glorious. Another reviewer stated that the movie was overstaged. To that I say, I loved the exhuberance. I want a Christmas movie to be over the top. This movie remains like a stocking on Christmas morning, very sweet and stuffed with fun.

I have always liked White Christmas. I have the vhs tape but needed the DVD, so that is why I bought it. It was in perfect condition when I received it.

An all time classic movie.They just don't make them like this any more.

I received my dvd quickly. I got it in 3 days, which was prefect, so I could take it to my sister in South Korea for Christmas!

This is one of my favorite holiday movies of all time, but is one I can watch any time of the year because it is about helping others no matter what the season is!

A DELIGHTFUL CHRISTMAS STORY OF DAYS GONE BY. I ENJOYED THE MUSIC AND THE COMEDY AND RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE HIGHLY.
