Its refreshing to read about the sixties music scene by someone who was in the middle of it, which was Joe Boyd. I could not put the book down when I started reading it.

Great encapsulation of the turbulent music scenes of the sixties and seventies, from Dylan-folk to psych-Floyd to Canterbury-pop. Wish it was longer and more in depth. Oh well.
