Very well made. only thing i didn't like was the cord wasn't stretchable like some are. hard to find a mounting location with a short cord

I bought this, and it works like a charm, however...I didn't realize that the blue LED's would be so bright...Would not recommend it for a smaller car, I am using mine in our VAN...Overall though, I'm pretty happy with it and for the price, I'd definitely recommend purchasing it...

Whistler XTR-140 Radar DetectorAs a senior citizen seeking nothing but a break in the monotony of interstate driving I sought an inexpensive radar detector. It was a replacement and while not a device I would bet the bank on for providing a speed trap warning in time to act accordingly, it is serving me well for the purpose bought. The device was mailed in a well-communicated and timely manner. Bottom line - the purchase procedure was very satisfactory and I got what I paid for.

This is a great radar detector for the price, if your looking to spend under 100 bucks i'd definitely recommend this one. Make sure you shop around online(I bought mine for 40 on ebay)

For the price I paid for this radar it is unbeatable. Its not gonna save you from the lasers but it'll pick up most troopers and cops with plenty of time for you to slow down.

I have owned this model for about two months now. I bought mine off of the companies website and after shipping charges etc. it turned out to be nearly $70. Two weeks after I recieved it, I ended up getting a speeding ticket because of it's low range. While travelling 85 in a 55, I did have time to downshift and by the time I was in range of the officer had decreased my speed to 69mph. I would recommend this unit to anybody who has a habit of travelling no more than ten over the speed limit, or anytime you are travelling under twenty over on a straight road. Regardless, it is a good unit for the price.
