Whistler Pro-78 Radar Detector

I would put this detector against ANY other of the market - regardlesss of price. The Pro-78 has excellent, sound, visuals, and clarity with over-the-top accuracy and consistency.

Nice little unit. Loud if you need it. It paid for itself just down my street the first day I put it in. Never seen a Nutley police car sitting there before but the radar picked him up a quarter mile away. Driving to Florida soon from NJ, will give it a real test. For the money, great deal.

I bought this for my wife, who believes the posted speed limits are just guidelines. The speaker died in her 6 year old Whistler so when I researched a new detector I found some reviews that stated this model compared favorably to the way higher priced detectors out there. The old Whistler saved us many a ticket and this one seems to be even more sensitive. It also has a very cool BLUE readout. For the price, this is probably the best detector out there.
