This Movie Has Nothing to Do with Sleeping

I was introverted, chubby, and fumbling all the time when I was growing up, and I wore hand-me-downs from my sisters, cousins and friends, had acne and never had money on me, even through college, where I would meet my mom at the cafeteria so she can buy me lunch, and through law school, to which my father drove me as often as his work schedule allowed. Can you believe that I was actually happy? I was, because of my family. I shared room with my sisters, and we would laugh and giggle and just fill our room with joyous rancor every time we were together, which wasn't often, but when we would get together, it felt like it had only been yesterday that we had been having a fun, great time. Now that I am so very far away from my family, as now I have my own, WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING just kinda brings the message home, and me too. I know this review isn't saying much about the movie, but maybe it's best that way. You should find out for yourself. Suffice it to say it made me think of home and made me feel like I'm back there, with my mom, my dad, my sisters. The bonus is... I found my wood worker, too. Just like in the movie. And yes, he gave me the world--he's my whole world. Ah, scratching your forehead wondering what the heck I'm talking about? Watch the movie. Then you'll get it.
