Wherever You Are by Third Day (CD, Nov-2005, Essential Records USA)

This is truely an amazing CD. I was pleasantly surprised since I hadn't heard any of the songs before. In my opinion, it is their best effort yet... Buy it, listen to the songs a few times, and I hope you'll agree... I give it 5 out of 5, A+!!!

This is a great worship CD! The lead singer has such a unique voice...it just seems to draws you in.
"Cry out to Jesus" is one of the best songs to relate to people who are searching for more out of life than whatis found on this earth.

This CD (and all the others from this band) is a wonderful/powerful Melodic-Rock-CD. No...it's not rock like "Metallica" or "AC/DC, it's christian-rock and you can feel it in your head and heart.
Well, I'm not a christ, but I love this sound really!!!

If you want to have a CD that you can play every times for every people who loves good music - BUY THIS ONE!!!

I recently purchased this CD from a retail store as a gift for a friend. I decided I had to have one too because some of the songs are my favorites. I got a much better deal on ebay than I did at the store even when you add in shipping costs. I have no complaints and am happy with the product and the cost.

I love this CD!!! It's one of the best ones I ever bought. Every song is a favorite. I love the voice of Mac Powell and the feeling he shows in the songs. It's especially a great CD for encouragement. I highly recommend this CD.

I love this CD it is one of my ALL time favorites! I got to see them perform a concert in Nashville before they released this and it was awesome- as it was a short time after my family and I evacuated to Nashville following Hurricane Katrina...So CRY OUT TO JESUS was my "theme" song for the past year...and blessed my life day after day! Another thing about this CD unlike many other CD's is that EVERY SONG IS AWESOME not just 1 or 2.... I just love every song and they have truly captured a new fan for their band in my house! On top of all that I got to meet with them and they are just an awesome group of men for Christ. The writing of their lyrics are dynamic and are heaven sent to bless all who listen to it! ***THE ADDED BONUS TO THIS ONE IS THAT MY TEENAGE BOYS LOVE IT TOO!!! WOW! Quintessential Third Day! That Southern Rock edge with heartfelt worship. I never get tired of hearing this c.d. Deeper than "Wire", you feel the place from which these songs were written, especially on "Cry Out to Jesus". Everyone can relate to the feelings encapsulated in this song, we've all been there.

This outstanding compilation from one of the best songwriters and bands in Christian music today. It has the sounds of the "old" Third Day. Back to the more ballad type songs instead of the rocker type songs from "Come Together" and "Wire". "Cry To Jesus" and "Mountain of God" has the words that make you want to reach out to God with the praise he deserves. The bands vocals are just tremendous. Mac Powell has such a distinctive voice which really stands out on these songs. If you're any kind of Third Day fan, you'll love this CD.

I love anything from this band, love the edgy voice of Mac Powell! All the cds are great! The quality of the cd is great. The message is full of hope.

I absolutely LOVE Third Day. I have most of their CD's. Their music is upbeat and very very spiritual. They know how to get into the heart of a person. Third Day isn't just "another Christian group." They are a group of ministers. They take their beliefs and help others to see the err of their ways too. They are a very powerful band. Their CD "Wherever You Are" is a collection of music that tells you that Jesus can find you no matter where you are in life. Only HE can call you out of bondage of sin. If a person is lost, Jesus can find a way for that person to get out. That's what this CD is. It's a tool to find the way to Jesus.

Let me start off by saying this is a very good CD. If you're a Third Day fan (I certainly am), you'll love this CD.
But I've come to expect a bit more from Third Day. Several of their releases have stood out as being masterpieces in my book - namely their debut CD, the first Offerings, and Wire. The rest of their music - including this one - just seem to be too familiar. There is little new ground covered here. But while other top Christian bands (Jars of Clay and Caedmon's Call come to mind) push the envelope a bit and branch out into new territories and take a few risks (not always successfully, may I add), Third Day seems content in dishing up the same formula stuff a bit too often. But at least they do it well.
If you're in the market for upir first Third Day CD, I'd recommend the three I listed above. If you're already a fan, then this CD will probably neither disappoint nor excite you.

The songs are very uplifting. The singing expresses a real strong emotion for the music they are performing.I would definitly buy more music from this group.

This group is phenomenal. The music is fabulous and the lyrics just reach out and grab a hold of you when you first hear them. Most of the songs were great the first time I heard them, the rest took a couple times of hearing them, but now I love the whole CD. It has become one of my favorite CDs of all time. It's great to hear while you're driving, but I enjoy it best when listening on a good pair of headphones. I'm planning to buy some copies for my close friends.

Great Christian Rock Album! Varies between Rock and ballads, A great mix for most any taste. Very Inspiring!

Third days newest release is by far one of the most powerful cd's they have released. you can tell God has really blessed them with such amazing songs. I think everyone should have this one, i bought it on ebay for only 7 bucks several weeks ago and still can't sing along to "cry out to jesus" without crying. i believe that song to be the most powerful song that they have came out with yet. do yourself a favor and buy this cd asap. the lyrics really put things in perspective...

Heard one song at church- decided to purchase it for that one song- loved the entire CD and wanted brother in law to have one- so the one I purchased here was the one I gave him for Christmas! He has thoroughly enjoyed listening to it (for hours)
Christian music that I purchase is rare= some all sounds alike- but I love the voice of the lead singer. Sounds a lot like a reborn Bob Seiger!! LOL

A few of the songs on this CD lack depth in the lyrics, but the music is great. I particularly like "Eagles" and "Mountain of God". Most of the lyrics are very inspirational. I love this band's music and will be on the lookout for bargains on their earlier work.
