This was one hilarious movie. It was worth the money spent and I think the purchase as well as the condition of the DVD was more than what I expected.

Great video, the alternate ending was a total shocker. I never knew there was one!! Ruth Gordon is a riot. I'm just glad I don't have a mother like her.. If you like old movies, and enjoy a good laugh, get this one!!

Good quality video (not high def, but seller has no control over that part), sealed in new box, played perfectly, and delivered promptly. Took me back to may days working in a movie theatre and watching this movie... over and over...
I had forgotten that Rob Reiner appeared in the movie (Meathead movie premiere?)

Thanks!

This is a classic black comedy in the vain of the Odd Couple. This is not a movie for kids, bad language and sexually explicit, but if you like the Odd Couple, late 1960's early 1970's New York type humor, you will not stop laughing. Ruth Gordon is amazing! Watch the Gorilla and see what happens!

Where's Poppa -a classic favorite of ours
Review created: 12/28/08

We loved to see Ruth Gordon come to life in this flick. She was such a wonderful character.
Ruth, may you rest in peace. There is and will be no one else like you, except Maw Hopwood. If only we could get her to do some on screen acting.

Typical family relations , when your young that's how your parents seem . As you get older , that is how your children seem to treat you . Of course it is over done a bit , but all in fun .

I hated the new ending, but the film is a riot!
Review created: 06/02/07

In the original version shown in theaters, the film ends when George Segal picks up the little old man and Ruth Gordon says, "Poppa?" and the little old man says, "Momma?". Theis version goes on from there - unnecessarily so. The sound seems a little muffled as well.

  Where's Poppa DVD
Review created: 03/09/07

Excellent seller, the DVD was perfect. I would definately buy from the seller again. The DVD arrived when promised and the whole process went very smoothly. The DVD played like the movie was just made instead of over 30 years ago.
