What's Up Doc? (DVD, 2003)

This is the one I watch when I'm down in the dumps and need a lift. I know almost every line by heart, and I drive my family crazy by laughing in anticipation of the next hilarious line. For Example...."I know I'm different, but from now on I'm going to try to be the same." "The same as what?" "The same as people who aren't different."
If you've never seen this movie, by all means, give yourself a treat. It's the silliest, funniest escape from daily stress, and I guarantee you'll laugh out loud. Long, one of my favorite comedies, "What's Up Doc" is one of the funniest movies ever made. Absolutely hilarious movie. Madeline Kahn is brilliant as Eunice and basically steals the movie away from everyone else. Chase scene is a RIOT!!!!

So far, 98% of my movie purchases have been excellent. I can't complain. My girlfriend loves this movie.

This is easily Barbara Streisand's best film ever. Judy Maxwell (Barbra Streisand ) plays a charming flake who distracts a self-absorbed musicologist with his rocks, Howard Bannister (Ryan O'Neal). He's engaged to be married to Eunice Burns, but soon Streisand's character has him chasing after stolen jewelry and getting into one madcap fix after another as the plot follows 4 identical red-plaid bags. The director, Bogdanovich, who is also a film critic, understands the screwball genre, and his loving revival of the form brings a smile, though it is not quite consistently inspired or funny. This movie has some of the most quotable lines ever scripted into a film!

I have loved this movie since I saw it when first released in the theaters. Farce is one of my favorite genres, and this is farce at it's best. Hard to believe it was done well in this era, but Bogdonovich gets it right. Ryan O'Neal is a perfect straight man, Babs always did comedy well, Maddy Kahn in one of her first roles ever... it's all hysterical. If you liked Noises Off, you'll love this. Physical comedy, great lines, good characters, and a typically ridiculous farce plot (don't come to this movie if you're looking for logic!) will give any viewer two hours of laughs and a good feeling the rest of the day.

Another great movie. I bought it for my dad and he just laughs and laughs about it and says how much he enjoys it. So glad to own it.

The DVD was in great condition, clear picture, and watching it has been a joy. One of my favorite comedies by Streisand.

Truly the standard by which all other fast-paced, confusing comedies must be judged. Shakespeare had a couple of comedies this good, but none better. If you can keep track of who has which case and what's happening to whom, you're pretty good, but the plot twists will still get you. I bought this movie because I have basically worn out my old VHS copy of it. Caution - don't watch this after stomach surgery! You'll pull out all your stitches!!

This is one of our family's top 5 favorite movies of all time. It is a must-see if you like clean comedy. One that the whole family can watch. Try to see if you can keep the four suitcases straight. They are transfered around many times! The courtroom scene near the end is a classic. Ryan O'Neal is adorable as the musicologist geek. Barbra is amazing as the clutzy perennial college student. You'll love it!

I love this movie so much it is a great classic.It makes you laugh and it has a great story-line.I love Barbara Streisand in it she is amazing. The movie is one of my favorites and thats why I wanted to buy it so bad.

Great movie. Hilarious classic. Saw it years ago. Pleased it's now available on DVD. No swearing or sexual innuendos. Family movie. Funny Funny Funny.

What's up Doc? is one of my all time favorite movies. A lot of action and comedy -- it's a classic!!!

I saw this movie when I was back in high school...and now I can still it anytime I want. I love this movie...so that's why I bought it as well as I can share w/family and friends.

THERE IS SO MUCH WIT IN THIS SHOW AND COMIC PACE. BARBARA STREISAND MAKES IT. RYAN O'NEAL IS VERY GOOD TOO AS IS MADELINE KAHN AS A COUNTER CHARACTER. MY COPY WAS OKAY THOUGH NOT SPECTACULAR.

barbra streisand, and ryan oneal, make a great comedy team,the whole cast is hilarious!! i bought it because i wanted to own it, and to let some other friends see it

I enjoy some of the older movies and this is a fun one. It is brand new and exactly as decribed. I am very happy with my purchase.

This movie is onee of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I wanted my wife to see it since she never has. She now agrees with me that it is one funny movie. Barbara Stiesand is excellent in her part!!!

This is a movie I saw the summer of 1971. I saw it at least six times that summer. The movie has a lot of good one-liners. It is a very funny movie. Barbara Streisand is a riot! I bought the movie because I liked it so much in 1971, I never forgot it. Nostalgic.

Despite my personal disgust with her politics, character and personality, Barbra Streisand is fantastic in this hilarious film. Madelyn Hahn and Ryan O'Neal are perfect foils for Streisand's inimitable performance. I have watched this film so often that I can often anticipate the lines verbatum, but I never get tired of this farce and am so pleased to now have it on DVD, permitting me to see details that I had never been able to discern before.

This is absolutely Barbra Streisand at her all time comedy best! This movie is still a scream after all these years, and Madeline Kahn, and Kenneth Mars, are fabulous also. Comedy doesn't get any better than this..folks!

It is rib tickling laughter. A must see on your list of good viewing!

This is one of the funniest movies of all time! Very clever story and dialogue!! It parallels the older movie "Bringing up Baby". Highly recommend it!
