What's Love Got to Do With It? (DVD, 1999)

I have always loved this movie because it shows the courage of a woman, and what it takes to pick up and move on! I bought it because I didn't have it in my DVD collection and I thought it would make a snice edition to it. I don't have any dislikes about the movie at all after all who could dislike a movie about a woman who takes a life of pain and turns it into a life of fame!!

I love this movie because it shows no matter what you have to be strong and you can survive! Also, you don't need a man to make it big. Somtimes you make it even bigger without them! I bought this becuase I use to watch it years ago and can never find it in the stores, of course EBAY had it though.

I love this movie because its actually telling the truth about how tina turner became famous and what she had to go thru to get there. I bought this movie because me and my mother dont have it on dvd.

the movie "Whats love got to do with it" was purchased a week ago, and it was a gift to my mom. Its a good movie and the price was a good deal. i recommend buying this movie its something you'll enjoy watching.

Angela Bassett acted in a way that definitely showed what Tina endured from Ike in early years of her career. Ike showed a side of himself that many thought wasn't possible. Lawrence Fishburn portrayed Ike in a masterful way, His character showed through in every way as he played opposite Angela Bassett. I have l;oved Tina Turner and her music for many years and wanted to see for myself what she had to endure to get to thop, where she envishoned herself from the beginning and the many battles she endured in and out of court to keep her stage name and the image she had built coming up through the ranks of showbiz. It was very inspiring to me to see what she overcame and how she still to this day continues to be the person she wants to be regardless of what other persons might think.Just because you come from a small town in the south doesn't mean you have no talent or have no education as Anna Mauy Bullock proved. Tina still knows where she came from and what she wants and does toward that goal.

I like the way everything was acted out...i watched it with my mother and she loved it...it's one of her favorite movies now...i decided to buy it because it was hard finding it around my way so i decided to buy it here since i became a member of eBay and PayPal...

I always found Tina Turner interesting and am glad we got this movie. The movie "documents" her humble beginnings, rise to fame, and tribulations with Ike Turner. The movie is well done on all accounts (script, filming, acting). It's engaging and empowering.

This movie was filled with great music, suspense and emotions. I recommend this film to all music and movie lovers. High quality and you will never get bored or loose interest.
