Editorial Reviews "Much of the film's humor revolves around outrageous character transformations....[The film does] serve as an excellent vehicle for both Wood, utterly charming here, and Clarkson, displaying her considerable comic talents." Hollywood Reporter - Frank Scheck (04/23/2009)
"WHATEVER WORKS gives effective voice to Allen's jaundiced philosophy of life..." A.V. Club - Scott Tobias (06/18/2009)
"Wood is totally beguiling in the role, absorbing Boris' cynicism but still charming him into marriage." Rolling Stone (06/25/2009)
3 stars out of 4 -- "Larry David is the mind of the enterprise, and Evan Rachel Wood is the heart. David is a verbal virtuoso, playing the 'Woody Allen role' but with his personal shtick." Chicago Sun-Times - Roger Ebert (06/24/2009)
