I bought it for my pregnant daughter, and she is reading it very diligently. I think the material it covers is very pertinent, and relevant, even though it is a few decades old. Some things don't change and some information is always accurate, no matter how dated. We are impressed at how much information it covers and everything you could think of,it talks about in the book.

I love this book!!! It has helped me out so much even in my first trimester!! I feel like any questions I may have had, that I didn't think that others would have as questions, were answered. It is very word-to-word on the whole book. I have already read it once and starting to read it over again! Makes me feel much more at ease knowing that everything will be ok! I was so nervous at first and now I am put at ease. Thank you for putting this book out! It is a lifesaver!!!

I bought this book for both my daughters that are expecting there first child about 2 months aparts. Even though they are always asking my ? about this and that i felt this would be a good thing for them to read and find things out they may not have ever thought of. My sister suggested getting it for them as it helped her out a bunch 15 yrs ago.

I have always heard this is the book to get when you're pregnant, so I immediately bought it. I'm disappointed that it doesn't provide more diagrams and/or pictures of how the baby is growing, especially on a week to week basis. So far in what I've read, I don't think I've learned all that much that I didn't already know. At least I got the book here on ebay and didn't have to pay regular price.

My daughter, who has 3 perfect children-20 mo., 5 & 7, recommended this book to me when I wanted to send something useful to my daughter-in-law who is expecting their first child late this summer. It did not disappoint! The vender service & price were great--just what I look for on E-Bay

So much great information and knowledge you can gain in this book. I highly recommend this book. It is a must have for every woman. It will help you have a safe and wonderful pregnancy.

This book is such a helpful read EVEN IF you are not pregnant yet. If you someday wish to become a mother, this is great for preparing yourself --- in terms of what symptoms to expect, what type of food you can or cannot have, what activities you should avoid doing, how to best deal with little irritations like morning sickness, etc.

It's a good survival tool especially for those of us who don't have a lot of friends or family around to reassure you that you're doing fine. It even has diagrams and illustrations of what types of exercises you can do even in the third trimester! It has a section that dispels a lot of myths and old wives' tales. It is extremely informative -- so much so that my husband is reading it as well!

The Baby Center's website will give you all this info for free without freaking you out with all the rare cases of what my or may not happen.

Your OBG or Midwife will also stock you up with some great resources that will cover all your basis and your Mom-friends may prove to be the best source of answers for you anyway.

Rely on your own instincts too! There are many women who make some unnecessary decisions about pregnancy and childbirth because of unwarranted fear.

If you decide to look through it anyway, sift through and take it with a grain of salt. Medical science isn't perfect or right.

I love all the details of every month and week in this book. It makes for easy reading and not too much at one time. There are also great questions and answers!

I love this book because it answers every question about pregnancy that you could possibly have. Not only that, but there are complete nutrition guidelines and pregnancy diets to follow so you don't end up gaining too much weight. I reference this book several times a day so I don't drive my physician crazy with endless questions. This book is literally like a Bible for pregnant women. It eases your worries, calms your fears and gives you hope for a successful outcome. Isn't that what we're all wanting during our nine months of gestation?

My daughter had been looking for this book at Wal-Mart and other book stores and was unable to find it. My daughter loves the book and was proud I found it on ebay for 1/2 the cost in stores.

My wife is six and one/half months pregnant and has three kids already and you wouldn't think there was much she could learn but "What to Expect When You're Expecting" has been a real pleasure for her. She reads the book daily and loves it. Big Hit for me since I bought it for her.

This book is wonderful for first time pregnancies. It is great for both new mom or dad. My husband and I both love reading facts that we never knew before. It is calming to feel a little educated going into this pregnancy and delivery. I love knowing the do's and don't's and the it's ok's and not ok's. I would highly recommend this to any first time pregnant mom or dad. This is a must read!!!!!

This book is a must have for every expectant mother. After 3 children, I've read a few similar books for expectant mothers, & this is by far the best. It is very informative, everything is explained very clearly, & it even has illustrations of the stages of fetal development, so you're able to see what your baby looks like at all the different stages of growth. It answers a lot of questions you may have, prepares you for all the different changes you go through, prepares you for what to expect at all those doctor appointments, & most importantly, helps prepare you for your baby's birthday! I have purchased this book for family/friends as well as myself, & highly recommend it to any mom-to-be. :-)

Very good reading, comprehensive and easy to understand. This is my first pregnancy and it has cleared up many concerns and has kept me calm.

I bought this for my wife since she is recently pregnant and she loved it. It has so much valuable information and really eased her anxiety. There is a chapter for every week of the pregnancy and it is something she reads everyday. I would recommend this to anyone!

Exactly what was described and expected. The book was in good condition. The book was at a great price and i got it for less than half of what the stores around town were asking.

My daughter in law is expecting and I always heard this was a good book. What I heard was right! It covers almost everything there is to know to ease your mind. I have read it now too and is very informative. Highly suggest expecting ladies read it.
