Wetrix is a great game and it is hard to find. It is a game of mental challenge and it become very addictive to play. Hours go by and you are still trying to beat each level. Very fast paced and great for had/eye coordination. I think it is good for any age level.

  Best Puzzle-game next to Tetris!
Review created: 04/23/09

I love this game. it's like a 3D tetris. great to kill time with. Basically, you build up walls to hold water. hold enough water and you advance to the next level.

Very Challenging, but fun!! a MUST for any N64-er.

Fun puzzle game for the Nintendo 64
Review created: 07/06/08

This is a fun puzzle game using water and structures to contain the water. Think of it as a 3d tetris where you need to hold water inside the blocks. Pretty simple game, but fun. I would have liked more modes or more game types, as the game tends to get repetative after a while. Don't get me wrong, I still like this game, it's one of my favorite puzzle games.

The game arrived very promptly. It was in the original box, which was in great shape. It looked as though it was bought, opened and then put away until just now. No tears in the box. The game plays excellent. I was very pleased with this game.

  Dont get wet

Pros:
Nearly Everthing

Cons:
A little more modes

This has to be one of the most underrated games for N64. This is a very good puzzle game for the now dying N64 and take my word this game is GREAT. Game play- I would first like to start out with the game play, hey in a puzzle game game play counts. You start out with a board and you must use Tetris like pieces to make a holding place for water pieces. Overall you have to make lakes the more you make the more points you get. But you must also prevent the water to go off the board or you will lose. One bad thing is that eventually it starts raining eventually and you must have barriers all...

All those hypnotic water bubbles keep coming down... down...

Pros:
Amazing Audio/ Visual Package, Hyper-Addicting!

Cons:
Time passes to quickly in the real world when you play this!!!

Wetrix is one of those games that you can't put down. Even though you probably won't ever realize why you are having fun, you WILL have fun. Although many people see it as a Tetris take-off, it is SO much different!!! This time, you can't just win by creating lines. You have to contain water that falls from the sky and in water bubbles by using a series of uppers and downers to create dams, lakes, and dykes to hold in the water. Sound complicated? It is, but it's not overwhelming. That's it's strength. Wetrix is pure eye candy. Although sometimes it's hard to see everything with tall dykes,...

  Chi-Chi Bungwa!!
Review created: 09/18/00
by: mrblonde007 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Good game play

Cons:
Poor graphics/ two player mode

This Tetris-like game adopts a new look, using 3D shapes and landscapes to develop a solid puzzle game that rivals Bubble Bobble and the King of the genre Tetris. The game is a very simple and easy game to learn and hard to master. It seems most quality puzzle games these days have that particular quality about them. It makes them timeless for future generations to enjoy. That is, if the N64 stays in the household. With the influx of 3 to 4 new game consoles, all with higher graphic content and speed, the only chance these puzzle games will have is that they revamp their graphics but keep...

(Insert some quip about water & Tetris here)
Review created: 07/23/01
by: ljordon -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Looks good, and the game doesn't lie.

Cons:
Flashy graphics can get in the way at times when racking up big bonuses.

Here's the gist of the game -- you build landscape to contain water that falls from the sky. You control: Uppers -- these pieces raise the land. Downers -- these drop the land by the same amount as uppers. Water -- This comes in various amounts; put it where you need it. Fireballs -- These evaporate water you've collected, or are trying to get rid of. They also blow up a portion of the landscape without putting a hole in the floor. Evaporating water is how points are scored. Bombs -- These will puncture a hole right through the bottom of the floor, no matter how much land you've built. And,...

  Simple but addictive
Review created: 01/04/00
by: trajmar -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
addictive fun, inexpensive

Cons:
simple game, may get boring, mostly one player

This is a simple puzzle game seemingly inspired by Tetris. However it takes things a step farther by making it 3-D and adding several different kinds of pieces and complications. The basic goal is to build up 3-D building blocks into dams to hold water. You can then guide water drops into these reservoirs to hold them. You score points by steering a fireball into the reservoir and evaporating water. Other objects such a downers and bombs modify the terrain. You use these objects to sculpt the largest and deepest lakes your can. As mentioned, the act of evaporating water with a fireball is the.
