We bought this TV to have in our kitchen. It had a beautiful clear picture and for me the screen is a perfect size for the kitchen or a craft room.
The only complaint I have about the TV is the fact the volume is very quiet. It was necessary for us to hook up external computer speakers to it as we didn't want to blow out the built in speakers.
I have only tried to use the dvd player to make sure it worked. I'm sure it will be very handy for grandkids cartoons.

) Good size for the application. Good picture for size.
terrible sound quality. Remote? well they all suck. The touch senitive buttons on the TV you can't feel when you have pushed one. I like to feel a click. Also to hard to find the right one especially in the dark.

I needed a small DTV for my Roadtrek Motor Home. This one was the perfect size. It works great. I was able to mount it in the space available.

) As other reviewers have noted, the audio output is somewhat weak, but the tuner performs perfectly and the picture quality is excellent.
I bought this TV to replace an old 9" tube set (with a digital tuner box) used in the kitchen, and now have twice the picture size and it takes up far less counter space.
