This is a very nice compact external hard drive for a low price.It is a compact design and came with a nice carrying case which is nice as we store large amounts of photos and music and like to take it with us from time to time.Item shipped immediately and the seller has very good communication.I will buy from them again.

Good plug and play drive. I have had no problems what so ever useing this drive on my dell gx280 desktop pc just plug it in and it is recognized, then copy and paste or drag and drop. Price was alot better than i could find locally and being usb powered is a plus to. No external power required.

The Western Digital passports are very reliable hard drives. Quick data transfer on a slick looking drive. Not only are they reliable and easy to use, but they are very nice.

I have worked with computers for about 12 years now. From my experience and knowledge; Western Digital, Seagate, and Maxtor (which is owned by Seagate), are very reliable companies when it comes to hard drives (both external and internal). All my computer systems (including back-up systems), are running one of these drives.

Western Digital, Seagate, and Maxtor also include programs with S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring-Analysis-Reporting-Technology) that allow the user to detect hard drive failures before they happen. This is an great program because they allow the user to save his/her files before they are lost.

Working good. I'd like to use not to big ext. drives. Decide to buy this one by price. Receaved this one in two weeks. Comunication with seller was good.

I was able to pick this one up for $50 in early 2009. I read reviews online first, and so far they all seem to be right. It does exactly what it said it would. It's quiet, sleek, a good price for it's storage size, and VERY easy to use. I literally just plugged it into my computer (vista) and I was ready, the driver must have installed automatically. I dragged the files I wanted to store over to the device, and they were coppied. I uplugged it, and now I have the piece of mind knowing that my huge music collection is safe.

i own a few wester digital hard drives. this particular one was a gift to someone, but i did check it out before i gave it to them. i find that WD produces a reliable product and i tend to only buy their hard drives. this hard drive was actually a refurb so i was skeptical but it turned out to be fine and i would defiantly buy one again (from a reputable seller of course).

I was really happy with the purchase of my 120GB external drive. It's thin and sleek. I have already started using it. Just one piece of advice for anyone who is not too familiar with the workings of external drives... connect it directly to the USB in the computer because it won't work through a hub.

I havent really used the hard drive yet since my computer crashed but I like it so far. I bought it so that I would have something 2 back my Pro Tools sessions as well as beats on.

bought it for the kids to keep their music and pictures so that it would crowd the computer. so far the best gift for the whole family.

The hard drive is very easy to use and works well. Not a lot of wait time. And the unit is shiny black, can't go wrong with that. So it doesn't look like a big eye sore. It's also small and doesn't take up a lot of space.

I have a larger Western Digital external hard drive, but I was looking for something more portable. This unit is USB powered, and is compact and sleek in design. It truly is a "plug and play" type of hard drive. I have had zero problems with it, and recommend it to everyone I know.
