This is an excellent external HD and serves itspurpose, backing up data or copying. The drive already has its drivers and necessary software to run, just plug and play. The transfer rate was a little slow but no problem when data is concered. Formating to an NTFS was better than the FAT32 that was previously installed. If given the opportunity to buy another one I would not hesitate.

This is the perfect backup source, small yet portable. This is the second one I have purchased and have had the first one for a couple of years.

An external hard drive- what more can I say. Store media and back up files. Perfect product for a file server on your network. It's definitely a worth while investment because it makes things so much easier. As the storage capacities get better, I highly recommending upgrading!

For some reason my computer will not boot up when the hard drive is connected...Very annoying because i have to unhook it and hook it back up every time..

i bought this as a gift for my husband who is a big music lover. our computer crashed about a year and a half ago and he lost all of his music. i thought that this would be the perfect way to keep his music safe. i was right he loves this external hard drive. my brother in law helped me find this on ebay and it was a really great price, now because he is happy i am happy.he loves every thing about it he said that he could not have gotten a better gift.

It Works great for what I need it to do. Works with Mac just fine. I have been using it for time machine and everything has been working just fine.

bought the hard drive two weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive hard drive. It has a 650gb capacity. The hard drive is noy too big like some of the comp. My only complaint is that i couldn't buy more of them.i really need a couple of terrabytes but we're not all able i guess. Other hard drives i have had don't seem to be made as well and the others always seem to have mac driver issues. Overall, I'd recommend the hard drive for any budget.

I enjoy being able to use this on several different computers, and keeping them all synchronized with each other at the same time. This really works well........ everyone needs to have a lager storage area to protect their investments on computers.
