Western Digital (WD10EADS) 1 TB SATA Hard Drive

I bought this as added storage for video. Works great for that. Not very fast, but that's what we expect with "green" products. Kinda like the Prius or something. The biggest performance note was the fact that the first 100GB of the drive was 87mbps, which isn't all that good already, but the last 100gb was 45mbps which is TERRIBLE. Still good enough for storage or video though.

I liked it simply because it was economical and additional storage I had forgotten to format it for first use so my PC could recognise it . HAHA!!!. Installation was easy I could not really find any appreciable flaws with it . I would recommend it to all concerned

I usually have a lot of choices to pick from and get the best items at the least cost and I never need to leave the house. Second is Christmas is all year long.

I Work in the edition of videos, they consume much space on the hard disks. On many occasions I had to suspend some projects do not have enough space. A hard drive as it allows me to enter a large number of videos and work with several projects at once.

Nice size - 1TB! The included software isn't the best - keeps freezing. When trying to manually move files over the size of the chunks cannot be over 300GB or an error message comes up saying that there isn't enough room on the hard drive.

This drive does exactly like the manufacture says. Good through put, quiet, and lower power consumption when idle.

great product no problems yet. Installed the harddrive as soon as I got it.I use it as a secondary hard drive and have network shares on it.No problems yet.

It's a hard drive, it's 1tb, works well with my external HD dock. Seems to heat up a lot less than my other 1tb.
