Western Digital Caviar® WD800BB 80 GB ATA-100 Hard Drive (Retail Version)

I have always liked the Western Digital brand. When I decided to get a hard drive off ebay I knew what I was looking for. It is a brand that I have trusted for 7 yrs in my old computer and is still working. When I got this hard drive I ran a diagnostics tool on to check for reliability and it checked out fine as well as all the sectors. When I shop for another hard drive it will definately be a Western Digital brand as I have tried other brands in the past and have had some problems. Now all three of my computers have Western Digital in them.

Hard drive fixed my problem with one of my PCs. Was able to set up hard drive easily and re-install operating system. Additionally, I could not beat the price by having to purchase a new hard drive.

the western digital 80 gig is the work horse of the smaller W.D. hard drives i have them in half the computers in the house or as a backup hard drive to store data just to backup the primary hard drive on key computers. there very strong on reliablity and fast enough to do the job. just wish the 160's and 320 and 500 gig turn out this good over time
