Unfortunately, of the two 250GB drives purchased, only one worked and it is barely hanging on. Two additional drives were sent to me and both did not work whatsoever. I have yet to receive a second drive that works. Additionally, it is quite obvious these drives are not checked before putting them up for sale and shipped by the seller. Not good business unless "for parts" is stated. This is my first, unsatisfactory comment for all things that I purchase on Ebay.

Great ProductThe item works like a charm. It's a major improvement over the lousy 10 GB I used to use. I can now play ALL of my games that I could ever want to now. The reason I got this item was because my old HDD got infected with the infamous win32:vitro 9Nasty little bugger to get rid of). I would recommend this item any day.

Shipping was on time. Seller knew his product. I had purchased an identical item from someone else, it took three exchanges to get the item as they had described it on the auction site.

Western Digital Caviar 250 GB Hard DriveI have always had good experiences with Western Digital Hard Drives.
Not long ago I purchased one like this for about 20 percent more than I paid for the one I got on Ebay. It has worked very well and both drives are very very quiet. The one I bought here can in a short time was in good condition and was installed with not trouble or problems. I used it to replace my existing Western Digital 40 GB hard drive which was getting close to capacity.
I cloned my 40 GB to the new 250 GB with not problems and it is now my new C: drive and working well. Only thing I didnt like was that per the date code there was not warranty period left on the drive I got.
