I didn't recieve my order yet...
i purchased it the 26th of januari
Now it's 12th of februari and stil i didn't recieve it.
It's taking amazingly long and i will never buy any thing again here.
The service is also very bad.
It takes them 3 or 4 days to reply an email.
This seller is someone i do NOT recommend to any other buyers
After 2 weeks my harddrive crashed.
And after checking waranty at the western digital website i noticed the harddrive was 2 years old so there wasn't any waranty.
Please, on futher sales check the status of devices and place your findings on the offer page. Also sell items with waranty left.....

Excellent value for the money
) I've bought many hard disks in the past, and I have found that the quality of certain generations of disks were excellent, while other generations sucked. Recently I've started noting that quality has gone right back up again. I think the periods of bad quality may happen when significant new technology is introduced for the first time. There's a lot of learning that has yet to be done on the new technology and later generations of the drives naturally get more reliable. I think this particular 1TB version is a mature drive technology, so I don't expect many problems with it.

) Western Digital's Caviar GP WD10EACS is touted as an eco-friendly drive. The Caviar GP (for "Green Power") is the first 1TB hard drive to have variable rotational speed, ranging from 5400rpm to 7200rpm; Western Digital credits that technological change with helping the hard drive reduce its power consumption.
cons: Can run a bit hot, so make sure to have some good cooling.
pros: Large size and dependable. Simple set up, use MBR setting to dee it in entirety in your Disk Manager, the make it a volume and quick format it. No sweat. Using as a Video library it works fine, so far.

This is a Lifebook drive. It comes with all the lifebooksoftware installed.
NOTE: the electronic signature on this device will NOT allow 2 of them on the same computer! I causes an identity conflict.
Other than that it is an excelent drive at an excelent price.

Great DriveFast, cheap, and plenty of storage.
Also has a nice built in feature of powering down when not in use (more so than just the OS can tell it to).
