Western Digital Caviar Blue 640 GB SATA Hard Drive

I needed a harddrive for a computer build that I was doing for myself. I new that I wanted one in the 500 GB range. I found this western digital on ebay and was happy with the price and was able to pick it up for a quarter of the price that other on line stores have. If you worry about warrenty issues then there is companys like square trade that you can extend your peace of mind with. I highly recommend e-bay...but like all things do your home work and buyer beware.

Western Digital's 640GB hard drive offers superior cost-per-gigabyte in a 320GB per platter (2 platters/4 heads) hard drive that performs quite well and favorably to even the newest drives on the market. It's simply the best deal in hard drive storage today (considering you can find it for less than $60).
