As a collector of Bogart films, this is a rare one as far as him doing humor, he usually did drama. I have it on Beta, but wanted a new copy on DVD, and this was a great addition to my collection of his films! Always considered it a good Christmas video, but this movie is enjoyable year round.

) Good overcomes Bad in a very funny way. Great entertainment. Actors are perfect for the roles and will be new to many viewers. I was glad to find a DVD copy of this film.

I ordered the DVD on March 5, 2009.Approximately 14 days I received the wrong order. I inquired about it. I was sent a return shipping label which took about 5 days.I returned it the next day. It is now the 10th of April and I still do not have my DVD. I will not buy again from them.

We're No AngelsThis movie has got to be one of the funniest old movies I have ever seen. It is also a very touching story with a good ending. Bogart, Ray, and Ustinov are really good comedic actors. What a surprise! In the beginning of the movie, they excape from prison with the intent of getting off the island and using any violent way to do it. They get involved with all that is happening with this one family and end up with a change of heart.

we're no angelsThe movie is based on the 1800's prisoner of Deils island. The charactors and the writting was great. People cared and had charactor years ago. Instead of blowing things up ad cursing, the actors here developed into civilized people. They showed respect for women and family life. Many criminals, lacked a structerd life that's the reason for crime as depicted in this film. It will give you the gigles and bring a smile to your face. Just a fun movie.

) Took 40 days to ship. Was ment for Christmas gift. Didn't get here in time.
They default on many dvds. Have very bad 98.% rating. The disc was made in Mexico! They do not have item in stock, have to order from someone else. I would never buy from them again, and if they default on as many dvd's as it seems they are stealing $1000.00 of dollars each month. I left positive, but if I had to do it again I would leave neutral.

I liked the movie very much - I had seen it years ago and was anxious to have it for my collection. It lived up to my expectations in every way - old movies are great for numerous reasons - absence of profanity, absence of indecency - good moral content just to name a few.

) this is a true classic. the performaces are steller. bogie, as is usual, steals the screen, playing his part with dead pan perfection. leo j carroll, is fantastic, as is alvino rey, and peter usinov.
and basil rathbone, is just at his villianous height. an absolute classic never to be duplicated. take that sean penn, whose name shouldn't even be mentioned in the company of these great actors.
the story line is perfect, and entertaining as well.

I have loved this movie for years, I have a VHS copy and we watch it every Christmas. It is very funny, they couldn't have picked any one better to play the parts of the three convicts. This is a classic and everyone should see it at least once. I bought this DVD version for my brother-in-law and they love this movie as much as I do.

My family watches this movie every Christmas, it's absolutely wonderful. I never realized how funny Humphrey Bogart could be. I would suggest it to anyone looking for an entertaining holiday movie, whether you are a Bogie fan or not (I wasn't until I saw this movie).

I saw this movie when I was a kid and I loved it! Of course, sometimes movies don't age well and you see it later in life and it's just OK or worse. But this one is still one of the good ones if you are into vintage movies!
One of the few comedic roles by Humphrey Bogart and worth the watch! Also starring, Aldo Ray, Basil Rathbone and Peter Ustinov.
One of the reasons I like it is because it was made when Hollywood still had some moral standards (at least rating standards), it's entertaining, it's wholesome, if your children or grandchildren walk in, you don't have to turn it off real quick, they'll probablly watch it with you!
No bad language, now nudity no overt violence! Just a funny, entertaining movie.
What I didn't like about..............I can't think of anything I didn't like about it.
